AlumniMagnet Resources
AlumniMagnet is a website and content management system for HLSA Clubs and Shared Interest Groups (SIGs). The AlumniMagnet suite of tools enhances both volunteer and alumni engagement. This platform provides each HLSA Club and Shared Interest Group with a customizable website, a broadcast email tool, and an event registration system.

FAQ's
Images can be uploaded by navigating to Manage Files & Images and uploading a file. Once uploaded, copy and paste the absolute URL into the event page, via the image icon.
Note that PDF's will not be displayed as an image, rather a downloadable link. If your image is saved as a PDF, please save it first as a png or jpg before uploading.
Web Administrators can log in via HarvardKey, go to Manage Events, and click the blue cog > View to download the registrant list in Excel format. Waitlist information also appears here if enabled.
Confirm that QuickRSVP or ticketing was selected when setting up the event. If missing, the Web Administrator can edit the event to add the correct registration format. Do so by navigating to Manage Articles > click the settings cog to the right of your event title and go to 'edit'. Within the article head to the grey arrows on the top left side of the page, and scroll to the bottom of the dropdown where 'widget' appears. Drag and drop the green bar into your event information space. Hit publish on the botton of the page to confirm that the widget has correctly populated.
If it still doesn’t appear, use SupportTracker or contact kmacher@law.harvard.edu.
Go to Manage Newsletter via the blue cog, locate the newsletter you’d like to reuse, and use the duplicate function. Update the subject and any additional dates prior to sending.
QuickRSVP automatically sends a generic confirmation email. To customize, go to the blue cog > Manage Events > Edit Event > Email Receipt Verbiage and add event-specific details such as directions or speaker info.
Use the Send Test button before scheduling. Review formatting, spelling, and links. The subject line will include "***test***," which won’t appear in the final send.
Coordinate with the other Club/SIG for approval first. Once approved, contact kmacher@law.harvard.edu for assistance in cross-posting.
